Professionally
I taught myself front-end coding and Photoshop during high school, which eventually led to a job as a junior developer at the age of 19 through a good friend. It didn’t take long for me to realize that my true passion in that role was actually design. Shortly after, I had the opportunity to work with two small local design agencies in Kansas City, which ultimately led me to a larger advertising firm as a digital designer. For the past seven years, I’ve been focused primarily on enterprise UX design. I am currently part of the B2B Digital Self-Service team at AT&T in Dallas.
Personally
Growing up, I moved from state to state, which was tough at times, but I now credit those experiences with giving me a unique perspective on the world. After high school, I spent some time in Australia before making my way to Kansas City, Austin, and New York, among other places. Eventually, I settled in Dallas to be with my partner. I love to travel whenever I can, connecting with friends across the country and overseas. On my travels, you'll often find me taking too many pictures, finding the best cold brew, visiting museums, getting a tattoo, or taking over TouchTunes at the nearest bar.
